Document fraud is a growing trend.
As a result of recent changes in the Universal Commercial Code (UCC),
businesses must show that "ordinary care" or "due diligence" was taken to protect
their negotiable documents.
It is more important than ever to use document security features to protect your
checks and negotiable documents. Financial institutions are no longer responsible for losses.
Your business can be held liable, if you fail to take reasonable protection measures.

The facts on document fraud are staggering.
Check fraud is ranked #2 on the FBI's most investigated activity list.
Approximately 1.2 million worthless checks are accepted for payment every day.
Recent figures indicate the cost of check fraud is expected to be more than 10 billion dollars annually.
Each day hundreds of businesses are victims of check fraud and counterfeiting. Today's technology can provide anybody the tools necessary to fraudulently duplicate
and manipulate checks and confidential documents. In addition to physical tampering, color copiers, PC's and scanners are now the
counterfeiters' weapons of choice. Added security features are necessary to protect your checks and negotiable documents.

Papers that are manufactured directly from the mill to contain overt (visible) and covert (hidden) security features.

Bleed Through Numbering

A dye in the ink used for numbering on checks and forms will bleed through to the
